Alex Lee and Johnny co-founded the AACC out of a need for a cohesive organization to serve as the representative for Asian owned business in the St. Louis metropolitan region and to promote Asian-driven business relationships. In addition to serving on the AACC Board of Directors, Johnny is the current President of the Missouri Asian American Bar Association. He previously served on its Board of Directors and actively participated in Missouri’s efforts to establish a Chinese Trade Hub in St. Louis. Johnny is also the founder of the Sua Sponte Pro Bono Legal Clinic, a unique legal clinic that partners with the International Institute to provide access to legal resources for non-English speaking immigrants.

In 2011, Johnny was recognized by the Regional Business Council (RBC), an AACC partner, as part of its inaugural Leadership 100 class. The RBC is an organization of 100 CEOs of midcap companies in the St. Louis region. Its mission is to unite and engage members to act on high-impact business, civic and philanthropic affairs for the betterment of the St. Louis region. The Leadership 100 is a group of diverse young professionals from across the St. Louis region that includes some of the area’s most influential business executives, community leaders and political officials. The members of the Leadership 100 were selected for their commitment to the growth of the region and their potential to change the face of St. Louis.

Our vision is to be instrumental in connecting Asian American businesses and organizations in the St. Louis region as well as positioning this region to be internationally competitive.
