Leadership - Sean Mullins

Sean is the World Trade Center St. Louis’ Director of Foreign Direct Investment.  He is responsible for international market research, grant writing, and coordinating special projects.  One of Sean’s current projects is leading St. Louis’ first ever Foreign Direct Investment Plan, which was developed in collaboration with the Brookings Institution.

Sean’s extensive knowledge of local businesses and international trade makes him a vital contact for business matchmaking and foreign market entry decisions.  Sean uses many methods to gather a wide range of international data, including compiling research from government, industry and/or media sources.  He works closely with WTC member companies to examine their needs and then connects them to the right trade resources.  He also works with many St. Louis area officials to apply for and manage funding opportunities specific towards enhancing St. Louis economic development.  Sean graduated from Creighton University with a BA in Political Science and earned an Executive Master of International Business from Saint Louis University.

Our vision is to be instrumental in connecting Asian American businesses and organizations in the St. Louis region as well as positioning this region to be internationally competitive.
