He also served as the Director of Operations for State Treasurer Clint Zweifel’s successful reelection campaign in 2012. Born in St. Louis, Vin took part in the desegregation program where he was bussed into the St. Louis City Public Schools until his sophomore year, in which he transferred and graduated from Ladue High School. He attended college in California, graduating from the University of California Santa Barbara with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.

Since moving back to St. Louis in 2010 Vin has started and grown a local pick up soccer organization known as St. Louis Pick Up Soccer, starting with a group about 40 people to over 5,000 members playing all over the region. Vin was a member of the FOCUS St. Louis Emerging Leaders Program, TEDxGatewayArch Leadership Board, Ladue Education Foundation Board and FBI Citizens Academy. In addition, Vin currently serves on the St. Louis Civic Pride Foundation Executive Board, The Downtown STL Inc Board of Directors, the Asian American Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and the Advisory Board for Peter and Paul Community Services’ Club Soccer Team, “The St. Louis Roadies.”
